WeTransfer and Marina Abramovic - Traces

Traces is a virtual time capsule commissioned by WePresent, the digital arts platform of WeTransfer, in collaboration with the artist Marina Abramović. It is presented as an online interactive experience featuring five items Abramović wants to preserve for future generations: the Rose of Jericho, quartz stones, a stone from Mars, Vincent Van Gogh's painting The Starry Night, and the Susan Sontag book Regarding the Pain of Others. Visited over 500,000 times in its first month, it celebrates the artist’s creative process and life’s work as a pioneer of performance art.
