Noort Bengali is a text typeface designed as a companion to its eponymous award-winning Latin counterpart. The five-weight typeface family provides great readability for long texts through a crisp texture. It interprets the expressiveness of the Latin design by employing an interrupted headline, which reinforces the dynamism of Bengali handwriting to create a bilingual family that respects cultural differences. Noort Bengali comes with an extensive suite of cartographic and wayfinding icons that embody the design's spirit, and make it a useful tool for information design.
