Hirosaki Arts Pollination is a regional art festival that invites citizens to rediscover the area around the city of Hirosaki in the Aomori Prefecture. The purpose of the festival is to get people excited about the future by connecting artists to Hirosaki's history, culture, industry and climate. This idea of joining the dots informed the typography, which was used for the venue design, signage and promotional materials around the city.
