Al Jazeera English's audio branding is not just a simple mnemonic but rather an interchangeable 'system' based upon 3 pillars: (1) MELODY where the final three notes also represent the mnemonic which can be used as standalone mnemonics or woven throughout original music; (2) RHYTHM using the clave beat which lends itself to a 'global' and contemporary feel and is infused into the three-note mnemonic and throughout all of the underscore tracks; and (3) SOUND DESIGN which can work alone or be infused on top of or within any of the music created for Al Jazeera.
