Localfurniture is a concept for the future of manufacturing, assembly, disassembly, durability, business model and repair of home furniture and the digital infrastructure around it. Products are manufactured locally with a CNC machine using sustainably sourced plywood. Pieces are designed to be extremely cost-effective, and are assembled and disassembled easily with no binders or connectors. The products are customisable online as well as traceable and repairable through the attached QR code that the customer can scan to order replacement parts or view the assembly and disassembly instructions.
