For this 30-second film Piranha Bar was tasked with crafting engaging characters in a tangible and relatable setting that would grab the attention; entertaining the viewer but, crucially, delivering a deadly serious safety message. The challenge was to tackle both. Tommy consistently breaks the fourth wall throughout, often looking directly down the barrel of the camera lens while his daughter serves as a perfect foil to his insouciant enthusiasm. Piranha Bar strived to craft a beautiful looking spot with appealing character design and heart but also highlight the need for a working alarm.
