Searching the web is such a natural part of our lives that sometimes we take the process for granted. We wanted to remind people of Google Search’s magic in a unique and novel way. During our one month pilot project, digital screens were set up all over the city that allowed us to interact with the public’s basic need for information with features offering clocks, geographical location data and weather conditions. The screens also allowed us to respond to these variables in striking ways, relating narratives that would remind people of how Google products improve people’s daily lives. Over 3000 unique stories were developed giving Londoners a different experience at every location and at any time of the day.
