At R/GA London, James provides strategic direction and creative leadership across the agency, working with a multidisciplinary creative team - an entrepreneurial group passionate about transforming the way people experience brands, via the creation of products, services and communications.
James has been the driving force in the London office since it’s inception, leading the business from a team of 5 people, to a team of over 150 people operating across 14 inspirational brands including the BBC, Beats by Dre, Beats Music, Coca-Cola, Google, Heineken, Nike, Telefonica, Turkcell and Unilever. <br><br>
James has more than 16 years experience focused on creating and executing ideas that sit at the intersection of design and technology. He’s presented internationally and has judged at multiple award shows, including the Cannes Lions and D&AD. <br><br>
He previously served as Head of Design at Electronic Ink in the U.S. and U.K., leading a creative team that pioneered the design of user interfaces for clients including Bank of America, BBC, Microsoft, NYSE and Reuters. At Electronic Ink he led the interface design for America’s first online banking solution as well as the trade floor Order Management System for the New York Stock Exchange.
