With an aim to re- connect with South African youth culture, our ‘Don’t be Afraid of the Dark’ Halloween campaign for Marmite gave the black spread a twist of horror. We wrote and designed ’13 Dark Tales’ as part of the campaign. The book featured 13 little-known South African urban legends, illustrated with dark scratchy vintage-style etchings that alluded to characters and scenes from each story.
