We created 'The X Factor Challenge' for the Carphone Warehouse’s sponsorship of Europe’s biggest singing contest. For the campaign, we asked viewers to sing and draw themselves online for a chance to star on TV during the show's ad breaks. By going online, choosing a song and singing on their mobile or computer, people could draw a character which was then animated to their voice. These animations were judged by the public, and the best, or worst, would make it onto TV each week. The campaign generated over 9,000 performances – judged over 150,000 times – and 30 TV ads.
