The brief was to launch the Absa Capital brand in South Africa and cement Absa Capital as a key player in the local investment banking market. Coupled with an above-the-line campaign, a limited edition 99-page leather-bound book was created for key Absa Capital clients. Titled, 'The Cubism Manifesto', each book showcased Absa Capital’s distinctive 'power of 3' philosophy through a varied mix of design, storytelling, illustration, typography and photography. As a result, Absa Capital has entrenched its vision of becoming the leading investment bank in sub-Saharan Africa. One hundred books were used to convey one unique investment philosophy.
