Channel 4 wanted to find a way to memorably promote what was, for Jamie Oliver, a fairly routine cookery programme. In order to draw attention away from the mundane nature of the show itself, 4Creative came up with the idea of an epic journey from the chef’s back garden to his kitchen by way of the Somme.
