Spin was commissioned by Lawrence King to design Logo, a showcase of the greatest logos in use today. The goal was to design an authoritative reference book with impact. The book was aimed at students, professionals, researchers and anyone with an interest in contemporary identity design. The design concept seeks to reflect the subject matter by creating a visual identity for the book. The dust jacket doubles as a poster which summarises the section categories. A strong navigational system was created to clearly articulate the sections so that the book could be used effectively as a reference tool. The colour palette has been restricted predominantly to black to enhance the nature of the content.
