This outdoor display for Allstate Insurance featured an actual car dangling off the 17th floor of the landmark Marina Towers apartment buildings in the heart of downtown Chicago. Combined with the stunning visual of a car teetering high above the Chicago River, Allstate's well-known tagline of “Are you in good hands?” evoked an emotional response from consumers – and reminded them insurance is about risk and protection. To accomplish the stunt, a team of engineers devised a harness system that required closing down two levels of the parking garage. The display was up for two weeks, during which time it received both local and national media attention.
