Japanese mobile phone carrier Au focused on a communication strategy to educate and strengthen brand awareness with its shop customers by using envelopes as its main tool. A young person in his or her twenties is targeted from their teens. Called the 'Entertainment Envelope', the object of these envelopes was to provide information that included services and news in a fun, interesting manner. Different envelopes were produced monthly and distributed for free.
