Climate change is an issue that faces everyone on the planet. The CarbonNeutral logo helped reposition ‘FutureForests’ from being perceived as an environmental organisation who only offered consumer focused ‘tree based climate solutions’ to a strategic partner in the climate business. The CarbonNeutral logo is designed as a call to action for climate change. It asks people to sign on the dotted line to prove their commitment. When the dotted line carries a signature it acts as a platform for endorsement, particularly when the signature belongs to a recognised person or celebrity. The dotted line can also carry logos and become a unique opportunity for co-branding. A key part of the new brand was to make it more appealing and relevant to a business audience but equally inclusive of non-business audience. The CarbonNeutral typeface contains unique rounded letterforms, designed to reflect the circles that form the dotted line.
