Laura Thompson: Senseless

By creating modern day mythological narratives, I have made creatures representing each of the senses that are constructed of disposable manmade products, which have consumed them to the point that they can no longer sense anything. Neither human nor animal, they wander between worlds yearning to be part of a world they no longer belong to, becoming a creature of myth.

Laura Thompson was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. For the past eight years she has lived in the UK and has recently received her Masters in Communication Design from the Glasgow School of Art in Glasgow, Scotland where she currently lives.
