'IMAX: Seeing is believing' is a preshow concept which subverts the expected paradigms of the preshow format by taking a purely 2D approach in contrast to the more common 3D approach. The preshow uses no type to ensure that audiences are shown the immersive experience IMAX offers rather than being told. The absence of type also works in line with IMAX's global audience as it can be deployed worldwide with no design changes. A glowing, slightly neon look is used throughout as in IMAX's marketing materials neon is praised to look significantly better when compared to traditional cinema. Borrowing from the world of film, the preshow uses one continuous shot which helps to immerse and engage viewers and avoid any distracting or jarring quick cuts.
