Hunger isn’t housebound, so Burger King is partnering with what3words to deliver, not just to customers’ doors, but to anywhere within three miles of a Burger King restaurant.
What3words splits the world into 3m squares and gives each square a unique, three-word name. Their location system allows Burger King to deliver to places previously thought undeliverable.
What’s more, there are 40,000 squares worldwide beginning with burger.king. Each of these provides an opportunity for a headline-worthy delivery. Burger King will reward customers ordering from a burger.king. square with a surprise relating to the square’s third word.
