Plastic Shackles – The image of plastic shackles is applied to design the plastic bottle pollution environmental poster.
Plastic bottle pollution presents a grave risk to the ocean, and the problem is worsening every day, therefore we intend to utilize photography to convey the concept of nature fighting back and we are the ones entangled in plastic.
Through processing and traditional chien-nien techniques, I have created a series of plastic bottle organisms. The application of chien-nien is because plastic bottles are brittle and shatter into plastic shards, very much like the elements of chien-nien.
The poster collection aims to make the audience think twice before using plastic bottles.
