Grrrl Say

In the 1990s, Riot Grrrl used music and collage as a means of expressing their feminist beliefs. Instead of communicating what's already been declared by Riot Grrrl, I used this aesthetic to value modern day stories where women have gained independence within the last 6 months. I have chosen 4 recent worldwide stories for each individual film that covey feminist empowerment. By using the Riot Grrrl aesthetic, I have produced a way for them to celebrate their independence and make people aware that everyone has a voice that should be expressed and valued.
