I chose to use the films directed (and often written) by the Coen Brothers. Although they cover many different genres of film, they all have underlying humour and great visual scenery. The Coen brothers' films highlight many different aspects of American life, so I wanted to show that through my work, looking into americana, creating hand drawn/painted pieces.
