The objective of this design is to give 4 seven its own character and personality, whilst keeping a visual link to the use of lines from the original Channel 4 logo. I kept the style youthful to reflect the age of the target audience. The design is based on the hash tag, which is used on the social media site Twitter. I chose the hash tag because it has become mainstream due to the popularity of twitter and even people who don’t use social media are familiar with this symbol.
