Yamaha’s 125th anniversary is coming up, and embedded in their brand history lie thousands of consumer stories waiting to be told. How can Yamaha bring these stories forward and make their rich heritage relevant for a new audience? We present “Lost and Sound” - an initiative by Yamaha on eBay. To connect buyers and distributors, we collect all Yamaha auctions that are put up on eBay under their own branded channel. And we give all sellers the chance to tell their own stories connected to the products. “Lost and Sound” will give Yamaha’s consumers an opportunity to tell their story, and a new audience the chance to participate in their heritage. It’s a great reminder of the thousands of great products Yamaha have in circulation and proof that they are a force to be reckoned with for hundreds of years to come.
