In Living Memory

Across the UK, “In Loving Memory” benches honour those who have died. But research funded by British Heart Foundation brings hope to those with cardiovascular disease. So we launched “In Living Memory” benches - 65 iconic red benches, celebrating 65 real survivors, installed directly in the heart of their communities across the UK to mark 65 years of lifesaving research. Each fitted with a unique plaque dedicated to a survivor still alive today. Each bench proof of the impact of donations. As part of the Keep Us Beating platform, these iconic benches are true celebrations of hope and survival.
