If you play your friends’ voice notes at double speed, this is for you. Heineken realized that voice notes have turned into long, boring virtual catch-ups, sometimes even replacing IRL meetups. So the brand, a longtime advocate of social life, decided to offer people a promo they couldn’t refuse. In partnership with WhatsApp - the natural habitat of voice notes - Heineken created a bot that rewarded users with free beers at a nearby bar when they forwarded a long voice note. The promo was announced through attention-grabbing OOH, content creators and a remix of a popular trend.
