I Wool Survive
I Wool Survive
Anti-gay narratives are rising, increasingly framing queerness as “unnatural.” For Grindr, challenging this became both a cultural and brand responsibility. Grindr activated its role as a connector, bringing together Rainbow Wool – a German sanctuary rescuing gay rams – and iconic designer Michael Schmidt. The result: I WOOL SURVIVE, the gayest fashion show ever – where even the clothes were spun from the wool of gay sheep. The project sparked a global conversation, reinforcing that being gay is as natural as the wool on our sheep’s backs.
