REWIND launched in the hyper-competitive Dutch snacking market with zero awareness and a tiny budget. Instead of a traditional campaign telling a brand story, we crafted a unique 9V Battery Flavoured Snack – a limited-edition product with baked-in talkability. By tapping into a universal sensory memory, the flavour turned into a brand storytelling device. It sparked a global conversation, reaching 348 million people and gaining the ultimate PR "badge of honour": an official warning from health authorities not to lick real batteries.
