The cover with the muscle man is a tribute to the now unfashionable muscle cars. The spread with the chair is a story about an ice race in Sweden. The spread with the red car is about Sweden's Ferrari – SAAB Sonett. Other stories not shown: interview with actor Ryan Gosling (a ‘Carl's Cars’ trademark is a reprint of the interviewee’s driving licence along with a signed car drawing); and Volkswagen New Beetle Coupé test drive down the Karl Marx Strasse in Berlin in Germany. The magazine finishes with a visit to the grave of John Z. DeLorean.
