Foam Magazine is a distinctive international photography magazine published by Foam_Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam and communication agency Vandejong. Foam Magazine pays attention to the wealth and diversity of photography, from fine art to applied photography and from historical to contemporary work, from both well-known artists and young, talented photographers. Each issue has a single theme, which unites six diverse portfolios of 16 pages each, accompanied by essays from acclaimed authors. Each portfolio is compiled with great care, in close consultation with the artist. A different kind of paper is selected for each one. The diversity of the portfolios makes it possible to move beyond specific genres and identify surprising links between works with quite different backgrounds.
