Reading for fun improves young people’s brains, but with 40% of 14 to 16 year olds agree they can’t find books that interest them, something needs to be done to help this generation rediscover their love for books.
"CollabClub" is a workshop delivered in schools by authors from diverse backgrounds which encourages young people to read for fun, enhances literacy skills and celebrates the uniqueness of each student. By the end of the workshop, each student will have written a short story with themselves as the main character.
