The idea is a perforated cardboard wrapping paper that protects the consumer's products and cuts down on excess cardboard. Even the tape that holds it together has been considered and perforated into a universal size to cut down on wastage. Being on a roll helps save space in the warehouses and packaging production costs are cut down. As well as making the packaging for John Lewis as personal as in their store service, the delivery note and address have been combined and a big thank you has been given to the consumer for choosing John Lewis.
