'DuoRoots'. A new feature within Duolingo where your relatives become your virtual language teachers. By capturing real pronunciation, emotion, and family-specific sayings from relatives, AI will then generate playful language lessons, making learning into a deeply personal and culturally meaningful experience. Heritage languages are fading, and as a result, many young people struggle to communicate with their grandparents due to language barriers. This leads to lost stories, misunderstood traditions, and surface-level relationships. So, ‘DuoRoots’ aims to restore identity, belonging, and lost emotional bonds connecting generations together.
