Lebanon got its independence in 1943. Ever since, no government was able to write a unified truthful history, leaving generations with nothing but fragments shaped by politics. So AnNahar used its own headlines to publish the first one, as a newspaper edition. Journalists & historians examined 82 years of front pages to reconstruct the history chapters. What governments failed to solve for decades, a newsroom did in one edition. And pressured by its successful acceptance by the public, all political parties including the PM & Education Minister had no choice but to acknowledge and approve it.
