The Password Heist

In October 2025, a group of thieves stole jewels worth millions of euros from the Louvre in broad daylight, exploiting a tiny flaw in the museum’s security system. The password to the Louvre’s security cameras was… “Louvre.” While the whole world was laughing, Leroy Merlin saw an opportunity. France’s #1 surveillance camera retailer turned the weakest password ever into a promo code for security cameras. Without mentioning the code or the museum, everyone got the idea. With no production or media budget, this real-time activation generated an additional €200,000 in CCTV camera revenue.
