Kyle F*cking Connor

After years of sponsoring basketball, KFC partnered with the Winnipeg Jets, entering the hockey space where brands like McDonald’s and Tim Hortons have spent millions over decades. So simply being a “proud partner” wasn’t going to make KFC stand out. Instead, we found a role only KFC could play. Jets star Kyle Connor, nicknamed Kyle F*cking Connor, “KFC”, making him a natural brand connection. We replaced the Colonel’s face with Connor’s across buckets and in-store, showed up rinkside, and created a new playoff rally prop. This embedded KFC directly into Jets fandom and playoff culture.
