The Sound of Leffe
The Sound of Leffe
First brewed by monks in 1240 at the Leffe abbey in Belgium, our sonic identity captures this history for modern consumers; The Sound of Monastic Divinity. We took acoustic impulse responses of the original abbey (where monks still live today), and converted this to digital reverb. This was then applied to bells, organ, and a choir plus modern production to make the sonic brand unequivocally ‘Leffe’. This sonic ID includes a ‘sonic palette’, a sonic logo, and various adaptations, all approved by the monks, driving distinctiveness and instant recognition across the brand experience.
