Motherland Pride

Pride events offer a moment of visibility for thousands of people. When Ukraine's Pride event was cancelled due to the pandemic, drones were used to hack the iconic Motherland Monument and attach a huge rainbow flag to it in real-time. The Motherland Monument – the tallest statue in Europe – is a symbol of victory and protection, and for Pride it was turned into a symbol of gender equality and human rights protection.
