Vaginas are acidic, so Canesten uses the spirit of Acid House to help the rave generation celebrate their identity despite biological changes during menopause. In menopause, lactic acid decreases and can cause vaginal issues. These issues are often suffered in silence and menopause is already a difficult topic to speak about. We launch 'The Second Summer of Life'; an acid house-inspired movement for the generation that pioneered it. Menopause is now something to rave about. We composed our own film score: An acid-house-style bassline is set within a modern and uplifting production - with a south asian outro. A dynamic soundtrack of drops and squelches lends hope to a complex topic.
