Stranger Things in Search
To launch the final season of Stranger Things, we bypassed modern tech and reverted to analog. We sent 11 superfans handcrafted 1987 time capsules featuring personalized, era-authentic VHS tapes – each with a bespoke film built from a decade of fan searches, hidden clues, and exclusive BTS footage. We scaled the nostalgia to search engines and social via an ’80s-inspired scavenger hunt and Search Trends videos, yielding 785M+ views and record search interest. Our tactile craft helped turn the internet Upside Down, proving the future of engagement is rooted in the past.
