Samuel L. Jackson opens the film driving a convertible, recounting how he lost his iconic shoes at the Superstar Hotel. Barefoot in the corridors, colour slowly floods the space; the walls shift, doors tremble, time speeds up and laces tie themselves. His voice guides the search for a new “superstar”. Behind each door: Lamine Yamal smiles from an armchair; Kendall Jenner wakes as her clothes form on her; Baby Keem lands a skate trick over Jackson. Jennie shatters glass in a burst of white dust.
