Booze Maths
Booze Maths
The film reframes drunk rationalisations, calling out the self-talk that leads to drunk driving. The central character heads to the bathroom before driving home. Inside, he is confronted by the unexpected: an accountant who begins analysing his reasoning for why he believes he is safe to drive home. As the exchange continues, each excuse is methodically unpacked, examining factors such as time, quantity, meals eaten, and personal judgment. As the explanations continue, the flawed arithmetic behind the decision is revealed through visual cues, proving that “Booze Maths” never adds up.
