Rooftop Revival
Rooftop Revival
Seoul is one of the most densely populated cities in the world. Social life is running out of space as crowded streets offer little room to gather and tiny homes make hosting difficult. However, the city has a unique and overlooked opportunity. Seoul has one of the highest proportions of flat, accessible rooftops globally. Most are empty, forgotten and coated in waterproof paint that is coincidentally…green. So Heineken took the opportunity to turn these forgotten rooftops into fresh social spaces. Each marked by an iconic red star parasol, giving Seoulites a new perspective of their city.
