London Symphony Orchestra – Strung Together

For London Symphony Orchestra’s 23/24 season, the orchestra wanted to celebrate the relationship between conductor and orchestra, with an approach that showcases the creative connection they have during the performance. The idea, Strung together, is a visual metaphor that uses string to show lines of communication. At the beginning of the piece the lines are tangled, but during the performance they are untangled by the conductor's movements – a story that reflects the connection between conductor and musicians growing stronger as they perform together.
