Dyslexic Thinking
Dyslexic Thinking
Despite one in five people being affected by dyslexia, 97% of the population still view it negatively. This is because the current definition is outdated, classifying dyslexia as a 'learning disability', an 'impairment', or a 'medical disorder'. But in fact, recent research has shown that people with dyslexia outperform other people in skills such as creativity, empathy, leadership, and out-of-the-box thinking. Made By Dyslexia pivoted to the more positive term 'dyslexic thinking', and had LinkedIn create a specific, new skill that people could add to their profiles.
