Sydney Writers’ Festival Trailer

This 90-second trailer was broadcast at festival events, on websites and on TV. The letters flow down Sydney tributaries to meet in the harbour – a metaphor for the festival itself, where writers gather together to create ‘one week of moving words’. The trailer was produced for real, not in post-production, using Tyvek – a heavy duty tear resistant paper that floats. Well actually, it kind of floats for a while, then folds and sinks. All letters were recovered. No designers or interns drowned during the process.
