What's in a Name?

400 years ago, Shakespeare famously penned the words: “What’s in a name?”.
A poetic musing that’s gone unquestioned for hundreds of years, until now.
Because in the UK, according to Oxford University research, if your name doesn’t sound “British”, you’re 60% less likely to be hired. Enter British-Bangladeshi spoken word artist Yasmin Ali who subverts this centuries-old phrase to combat name bias in modern-day Britain. Turning Shakespeare’s words into a weapon for equality.
