Tameko

Tameko are a new Danish textile company, specialising in fabrics for your table, bed and home. We were asked to create a brand, including packaging, that complements the minimalistic nature of the collection but has depth and a distinctive personality of its own. Taking inspiration from typewriter art, we created a typographic identity that emulates the fabrics themselves. Our “textiles” wrap around boxes, crease, fold and even tumble like fabric. The packaging has an archival and utilitarian quality, exquisitely screen printed with intricate patterns, handmade in Copenhagen by Elvo 1923.
