Stop Running in Circles

E-scooters are often criticised for promoting laziness rather than movement. To challenge that perception, Lime targeted a highly active audience: runners. Many runners want to explore more but are limited by the need for runs to start and end in the same place. The barrier to exploring new routes isn’t motivation; it’s getting home. So we used runners’ own activity data to unlock discovery. By connecting Strava with Lime, the distance runners logged automatically converted into scooter minutes for the ride home, allowing runners to explore the city freely instead of repeating the same loops.
