Offline Hour

When Earth Hour was first conceived in 2007, household lighting represented a significant portion of global energy consumption. Turning off the lights actually made an impact at the time, but since then, our energy consumption habits have changed with our internet-connected devices taking up a greater share. Pizza Hut wanted to show its commitment to climate action by participating in Earth Hour but in a different and more impactful way. Instead of switching off the lights, Pizza Hut encouraged people to switch off their WiFi and data for an hour.
